Mr. Ben Eskola, Deacon

Ben was born in Fitchburg , Massachusetts . His parents, Jorma and Lynda, moved to Treadway , Tennessee in 1986 with hopes of raising their five children in a safer, more Christian-like environment. He attended Duck Creek Baptist Church for the remainder of his childhood. One night in 1987, after attending a revival service at his church, he felt the Holy Spirit speaking to his heart, and there in his bedroom decided to accept Christ as his Savior.

After high school, Ben attended Walter's State Community College where he obtained his Paramedic License. For 8 years he worked for Hancock County Emergency Medical Services, until he decided to change professions by going into his family's roofing business. In 2003, he and his brother, John, branched out and opened an industrial roofing business, Eskola LLC, in Morristown , where he continues to work.

Ben married his wife, Tammy, in 1998. After searching several years for a church to call home, they found PFWBC. Today they make their home in Whitesburg with their two children, Alexandria and Christian. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, camping, hunting, fishing, and swimming.

In 2007 Ben was ordained to the Ministry of Deacon by the church. He serves as the High School Sunday School teacher and is actively involved in the church's mission program.
